This project is an extended reflection on the use of data “and/as” research in Byzantine Studies and related fields. Join us in interrogating the permeable boundaries between humanities and social science research.

Support

This project’s seed funding was a Provost’s Digital Innovation Grant (under the working title of Cappadocia on the Commons) in 2015-2016. This website’s premise also builds on Documenting Cappadocia, a project developed in the New Media Lab from 2011- 2017.
